Summary

The contributor sings a song in praise of young Eòghann of Vallay (Ewan MacDonald), North Uist.

Eòghann's mother was put under a spell and was unable to give birth to him for a long time. A certain man told a witch that the woman had given birth to a boy, and her daughter threw the spellbinder into the fire. When he was born, Eòghann already had teeth.

Information is also given about some members of Clann 'ic Ailein, including a man who fought with Nelson at Trafalgar.

Item Notes
