The water-horse.
A herdswoman was sitting sewing by a loch. A handsome man came and put his head in her lap to sleep. She could see seaweed and sand in his hair. She cut her apron where his head lay and ran off. She heard a noise coming after her and saw a grey horse, but she reached home safely.
