Summary
A son of MacLeod of Dunvegan killed an Indian king and his son.
The son of MacLeod of Dunvegan was in India. He fought with a king's son and killed him. He was summoned by the king. MacLeod took his men with him and left them in hiding. He told them to make for the house if they heard his whistle. He was given a fine meal by the king. Though he was offered more, he refused. The king told him to eat well as this would be his last meal. There was a sword fight. MacLeod had a sword under his cloak and he killed the king and blew his whistle to summon his men. The soldiers overran the palace and took the golden calf the natives had worshipped.
