Summary

In this love song the bard pleads with Màili, the girl he loves, to return from the Lowlands. He is so miserable that he feels he will die of sadness. There is no girl like the girl he loves. Her beautiful fair skin and rosy cheeks are described. He would prefer to be in his grave with her than be with another girl.
