Summary
How MacLean of Duart was killed at the Battle of Gruinart Sands.
MacLean of Duart was killed at the Battle of Gruinart Sands by a dwarf called the Dubh-sìth, whose services he had refused. He won the battle and was killed by the Dubh-sìth's arrow when he raised his helmet to wipe sweat from his brow. His killer's mother was a MacLean from Mull. She beheaded her son with an axe in vengeance for what he did to MacLean of Duart.
