Summary
The route taken by Jura drovers to Falkirk.
The drovers would go along the road to Lagg, get the ferry to Kilmore, and then walk via Lochgilphead. They stopped overnight at places where they had a right to graze cattle. Drovers came across Jura from Islay and Colonsay on their way to Falkirk. The contributor recites fragments of a verse composed to a drover, which he heard from his mother.
