How a man saw a fairy hill opening, and fairies coming out of it.
There was a man outside his house watching the sunset. He noticed there was an opening in a hillock, and small creatures clad in green came out. They were about the size of bottles. Two or three hundred came out altogether, covering the hill. The man went inside to get his mother and neighbour, but they saw nothing when they looked out. There was a tradition that if you took your eye off the fairies you wouldn't see them again. Mr Henderson mentions another man who saw fairies on the road.
