Summary - The Lady of Lawers cursed the Breadalbanes, and predicted the break-up of the estate.

The Lady of Lawers was the last holder of the small estate of the Campbells of Lawers. She was dispossessed by the Breadalbanes and put a curse on them that there would never be three generations succeeding one another. She said that the Breadalbane Estate would be put together in hides and go in thongs. The estate, which was once one of the biggest in Scotland, stretching from Aberfeldy to the Islands of Luing and Kerrera, was completely broken up.
