Bilingual education is not successful in California and voters there have asked to have education through the medium of English only. Four people explain how very successful bilingual education is in Scotland, Wales and other places. They agree that there must be something wrong with the bilingual teaching methods in California and they are also of the opinion that there are political and financial reasons behind what is happening there.
