Summary
This is a sailing song in which the bard describes how his ship sailed from Greenock. He describes how he felt sad as he thought of the loved ones he left behind. He does not like the crew who came aboard in Greenock. They paid no attention to the Sabbath. He is thankful for the skilled Highland sailors who were with him, and is looking forward to coming home.
