A clapping song. The first part consists of a series of couplets beginning "My love is..." followed by various descriptions of him.
The second section begins with the composer expressing ill will towards the one who stole the man from her. She tells how she fared better the year before.

14 couplets plus 3-line choruses sung. Two of the couplets have been repeated. Chorus accompaniment during refrain. This clapping song, like many of this type, gives an opportunity for humorous improvisation.
