Summary

In this waulking song, the composer tells of her sadness that the man she loved now rides past her, ignoring her completely. She wishes she could be his gun, his hunting ground, his ship and his plaid. Finally, she advises other girls not to give their love to any man. Men are plausible, but they have their reasons.
