Summary

How the Weaver of the Castle was killed, and how his murder was later avenged by his son.

The Weaver of the Castle was banished from Barra to the Stack islands south of Eriskay. He built a castle there, and married. He had four sons and the whole family were fond of piracy. One day, a ship appeared and the Weaver and his three eldest sons were put to death by the commander. Years later, when the youngest son came of age, he went in search of the man who murdered his father and brothers, and killed him.
