Summary

The story of how Clanranald incurred a debt building Ormaclete castle. A Clanranald chief was in France where he met the daughter of a Duke. They were married, and he took his new bride back to Uist. He had Ormaclete Castle built as his wife was unhappy with the house she was in, and he almost lost his estate with the debt he incurred.
