Summary

A Fenian ballad or lay which tells the story of the Black Hound. Caoilte was out hunting on the hill one day when he met an ugly man with a black hound. The man wanted the Fenians to get their dogs to fight it. Tha black hound killed many dogs belonging to the Fenians, but eventually it was killed by the dog Bran.
