Summary - An old and lengthy tale which tells how Mànus, the King of Norway's grandson, became king. The King of Norway had two sons before he died. They both married and each had a son, Eochaidh and Mànus. Eòchaidh's mother plotted to kill Mànus, who subsequently underwent numerous perilous adventures to protect himself. He was given assistance by many colourful characters, and is finally crowned King.
