Summary

In this song the bard praises Duncan MacDonald, the famous Gaelic storyteller. He is described in the song as "the man with the reddish-brown coat". He praises the tailor who made the coat, which Duncan wore wherever he went. Duncan's talent as a famous storyteller of the great classical tales is praised. If Duncan should ever come to Glasgow, he will be made very welcome in the bard's house.
