Summary - Rev. Norman MacDonald: autobiographical details.

Rev. Norman Macdonald talks about his life. He was born in Valtos, in an area steeped in Gaelic culture and tradition. Even at a young age he hoped that he would one day be able to publish a book recounting some of the songs, oral tradition, superstitions and stories that he heard all around him. He went to university in Glasgow and then spent three years in Canada. There he began to give lectures on Gaelic oral tradition, songs and superstition. These lectures form the basis of the bilingual book he hopes to publish. He has been a minister in Glenelg for the past nine years.
