Summary
A stone lion head from the Roman era is on display at an Edinburgh exhibition.
The 'Pax Romana' exhibition in Edinburgh Arts Centre features a stone head of a lion, which was found in 1997. Coinneach MacLean went to view it, and he says the head is complete and is around five feet long and three feet high. It dates from Roman times.
