Summary
The ground officer of Cill Amhlaidh and Fr James.
The Cill Amhlaidh ground officer was Catholic, but he and two others went to a Protestant wedding during Lent. He drank and danced along with the rest. The following Sunday, Fr James MacGregor ordered all three out of the church. The ground officer left altogether and became a Protestant.
Fr James was renowned. He was a healer and had books on the subject. They were passed on to the ground officer's son, Iain, who was also a healer. He was a missionary and unmarried. Mention of the Year of the Blight.
