Summary
Shops and public houses in Drummore, Damnaglaur and Kirkmaiden.
There were formerly five or six small shops in Drummore, which the Misses McGaw list. As well as several grocers there was a draper and a butcher. In Damnaglaur there was a grocer, a smithy, a joiner and a shoemaker. Kirkmaiden had the same range of shops and the grocer's was also a drapery. As well as shops in Drummore, there was a barber cutting hair in his house and an old lady making potted head for sale. The Misses McGaw can't recall all eight of the public houses mentioned in a book by Mr Todd.
