Summary
Mary MacLeod (Màiri nighean Alasdair Ruaidh).
Calum Ruadh Nicolson speaks of Mary MacLeod, his favourite Gaelic poet. He tells how she was sent away from Dunvegan to a west coast island, for satirising the chief. While she was exiled there, she composed another song, and the chief took her back.
Mr Nicolson also speaks of different views on where Mary was buried.
