Summary

Children as witnesses in court cases.

Rob Dunbar, Marjory MacCallum and Donald MacLeod discuss the way in which child witnesses in court cases are dealt with. The legal system tries to put children at ease by allowing them to give their testimony by video link, or by making the proceedings more informal as regards to how the judge and the lawyers are dressed. They also discuss how to make sure that children are telling the truth about their testimony.
