Summary

This love song is addressed to the girl with the bewitching eyes. The bard loved her since he was young. He would not ask for cattle or land if he could get her. Her beauty and character are described. He would lie with her anywhere. Even if they lay on a snowy mountain, he would shelter her. He has heard that love in a woman will quickly lessen. If the couple are not destined to be together, he wishes the man who gets her well.

Item Notes
