Summary - A waulking song in which a woman praises her beloved Patrick, who is absent. She wishes he would return and says that she would run to meet him, ahead of all the other people, barefoot. She remembers the many times they were together in the room deliberating over poetry, which he with his fine hand would write down. He was the finest of fiddlers and beloved of all the young girls.
