Summary - The lad who received the gift of piping from a supernatural creature.
Two pipers bet as to who was best. The host sent his boy to fetch his pipes. On the way he saw Luideag na h-Aibhne and caught her. She promised him anything he wanted if he let her go. He asked to be able to play the pipes well. On his return, he gave the two men a tune, and played excellently. The visiting piper withdrew from the bet, not wanting to hear he father, after the standard of his son's playing.
