Summary

Work to be done to bring the River Snizort back to the way it was at one time.

At one time the River Snizort was famous for salmon and important regarding island history. 1,000 salmon would be caught annually but today the number is considerably lower at 80 salmon. Dr Alasdair MacLean is familiar with the river and its history and tells more about it. He discusses the river's history, the type of river it is, how the water flows and the developments that are planned in the hope that it will be returned to its previous state.
