Summary
A woman's love song to the fair-haired man she is in love with and who has sailed across the sea. He was of a higher social standing than her. Others have criticised him for being a flirt and a scoundrel, but she will not hear of it. She wishes to follow him across the sea but she is not permitted and is locked up and guarded by sword. She wishes him well and hopes that he will have the one he chooses by his side, and perhaps it might turn out to be her.
