Summary - The landowner's son and the ploughman's daughter.
A landowner's son was in love with the ploughman's daughter, and would visit her often. His parents were displeased at this, and forced her to leave the area. She boarded a ship to America. Upon arrival, the captain pointed her in the direction of somebody who would employ her as a servant. She found work, but one day discovered a woman's corpse and a pile of gold. She ran for her life, taking a bag of gold in the process. Hidden by the captain of the ship in the topsails, she returned home to marry the landowner's son, and bought his father's estate to boot.
