Summary

Clanranald killed his ploughman and family, but the youngest son of the ploughman grew up and avenged the deaths of his family members.

Clanranald of Ormiclate killed his ploughman when he was found eating silverweed. He was then told that the ploughman had a brother who was married with children, and that they might seek revenge. Therefore a plan was hatched at a place known as Clach na Mì-chomhairle, to murder this family. They were all wiped out, with the exception of the widow and the youngest son. The story then tells how, when the lad grew up, he avenged the deaths of his father and brothers.
