Summary
The fairies and the midwife who was blinded.
A midwife was brought to attend a fairy birth. She noticed a fairy rubbing ointment onto the baby. When wiping it off, she touched her eye, thus giving her the power to 'see'. Some time later, she saw a fairy at the market. When he discovered that she had the power to see him, he blinded her.
