Summary - Anecdotes about Angus MacInnes, a storyteller and piper from Uist.
Angus MacInnes [sic] and the contributor's grandparents, who were named MacRae, were once on their way to a wedding. Angus was piping for the dancing and the night was late before they left. When Angus went to get his cap, it could not be found. The contributors grandfather closed the door and would not let anyone leave until it was found. They had killed a sheep for the wedding meal, and they were competing to see who was strongest among them by trying to break its thigh bone. Angus was the only man strong enough to break it in half. He was not a tall man, but he was very strong. He was an old man when he died.
Angus MacInnes died more than fifty years previously, before the Boer War.
