Summary - Traditional cures.

A fisherman gave the contributor a certain plant to heal chapped lips – he describes the plant, but does not remember the name. Roasted potatoes and soap were used to cure boils. The fisherman cured a pain in the contributor's knee with 'cochall' and a cow's horn. He drew out the fluid by sucking through the horn.
