Summary
The sinking of a boat from Harris.
A boat from Harris with a crew of three was returning with a cargo of wood. It capsized in bad weather near Skye. The crew climbed on to the upturned boat. There were two boats behind it. The first one left them, but the second one rescued them. The skipper of it reported the other boat, and its skipper was hanged. The Harris people knew of the shipwreck and believed that the crew was dead. When they came home, everyone fled, thinking they had returned from the grave.
