Dis peerie [little] grice [pig] guid ta market,
Dis peerie grice stayed at hame,
Dis peerie grice had maet [i.e. food] ta aet,
And dis peerie grice hed nane,
And dis peerie grice said, "Wee, wee, wee, woh!" aa da wey hame.
