Summary
An exaggerated story by Iain Cunnartach.
Iain Cunnartach and other men took days looking for a goldmine abroad. One day there was a shadow overhead which lasted until sunset. In the glen the men came upon a big white lump. One of them hit it and a flood came out. They realised that this was a big egg and that the shadow had been caused by an enormous bird which took all day to pass.
The storyteller was given the name Iain Cunnartach because of his exaggerated stories.
