Summary
A song that was composed after the SS Politician sank in the sound of Eriskay. The bard says that he is ill because he drank so much Spey Royal. He tells that there was silk and shoes on board but that the best cargo was below deck. He didn't expect anything to happen to him for taking whisky off the ship but he was taken to Lochmaddy to court. He wasn't found guilty and he says that even if he had been sent to jail he would have held his head high, because he hadn't done anything wrong.
