Summary
This is a song in praise of the Cameron Highlanders in the First World War and describes their bravery in battle, for example in Loos. Though some soldiers survived the war, many died in France and are buried there. On Sundays, many mothers and sisters can be seen dressed in black. The bard tells what he thinks of the Kaiser.
