Summary
How the shepherd's daughter was taken by the tinkers and how he got her back.
There was a shepherd and his wife who had a little girl, aged five years. One day the child could not be found and it appeared that she had been taken by the tinkers. That was true, but the girl escaped and was taken in by an old woman. After some years, the old woman died but the girl was taken to live with the doctor who had attended the woman. The girl's father heard word of her and he found her at the doctor's house. He took her home with him.
