Summary
A story about a young couple and how they were cursed by her mother.
There was a woman in Grulin called Kate Fraser. She had a beautiful daughter, who married Aonghas mac Fhionnlaigh from Canna without her knowledge. When Kate found out she cursed the young couple and the best man and bridesmaid. None of them had any children and this was thought to be as a result of the curse. This took place around 1800.
Aonghas composed a song when they were courting, praising her beauty. It is sung here.
