Summary

Raghnall mac Ailein Òig and the Pìobaire Mòr.

Raghnall mac Ailein Òig was Clanranald's factor. He was a famous piper. He taught Donald MacQuarrie, am Pìobaire Mòr. Donald and his friend Iain Ruadh were fond of the bottle and drank down at the old mill. When Donald died a boat went to Arisaig to fetch Raghnall. The funeral procession stopped when they saw the boat approaching. Raghnall came ashore and played the pipes until he reached the procession. A small cairn marks the spot.
