Summary

In the first three couplets of this waulking song, a woman tells how she saw her lover pass by on a lightly-stepping grey horse the previous day. He did not acknowledge her. The couplets which follow are in praise of Clan Donald. The final couplet refers to the struggle until King James will be crowned.
