Summary
Dòmhnall Dubh na Cuthaig was of Clanranald stock. He was named after his gun which was called 'the Cuckoo'. On one occasion, whilst he was sailing, a strange beast came on board and they stopped at the Isle of Canna. Dòmhnall Dubh died on Canna and was stormbound there for seven weeks.
