Summary
The contributor, when a small child, saw the ghost of a man who had recently died.
When the contributor was about two or three he was left at home in the charge of his elder sister while the adults were out working. He started to cry and could not be comforted, so his sister took him to their mother. She brought him home and he told her he had been frightened by an ugly man he had seen in the loft of the house. It turned out to be the ghost of a man, Donald MacLean, who had recently died.
