Summary
The singer is arrested by two detectives from the CID (Criminal Investigation Department) for charging admission to an event when the venue is not a club. The doorkeeper had misheard CID and thought they were from CND (Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament).
Based on an actual incident when detectives came to the Crown, which led to it becoming a folk club (no one was arrested).
