Summary
In this song the bard says that he cannot sleep or rest because he is thinking of his beloved. This is the year that has destroyed him and made him lose his hair. He is shedding tears because he is not with his beloved. His mouth is dry and his heart is beating slowly since they separated.
Then, he tells that he is disappointed with his family because they wouldn't allow him to marry. At the end, he says that he would prefer to be with his darling in a glen in the mountains where nobody could see them. He would provide for her and he would rather be alone in a room with her than have the wealth of the king.
