Summary
This is a woman's love song for her sailor lover. He is not an insignificant old man, but lively, cheerful, happy and noble. His armour becomes him well and she names the various weapons. He is the most handsome lover in all of Scotland. The ship with her beloved and his crew is coming round the promontory.
