Summary
Peter Morrison tells how he composed the song 'Uibhist a Tuath'.
Peter Morrison was on holiday in Glasgow with his daughter, Mary Flora when he composed the song 'Uibhist a Tuath'. He spent a night with a cousin who had newly retired. The cousin was telling Peter how his heart was in Uist and how he would like to return there, but his wife did not want to move from Glasgow. Peter immediately composed the song 'Uibhist a Tuath'. He never told his cousin that he composed it. The song was composed over ten years prior to this recording. It is one of Peter's favourite songs. It is not sung here.
