Summary
A love song in which a woman is lamenting her sweetheart. She says that three things come without asking: jealousy, fear and love.
The contributor tells that it was composed by the daughter of the Laird of Rèilig. He saw the song written down in a song book that was owned by John MacLean, the poet from Tiree. He learned it from his father's singing.
