Summary
One of the prophecies of the Brahan Seer.
The Brahan seer prophesied that some armies would meet at Allt an Torcain, and that a bloody battle would be fought at Àird na Caillich, in Laxay, on the Isle of Lewis. This has not yet come to pass.
An anecdote is also told regarding a strange fire seen on Àird na Caillich.
